Simple Start up: Have NO FEAR! Your VideoPresenteR instructions are right here! The VideoPresenteR uses context sensitive help. Each segment of the program has a Tool Tip and further information on the topic. Each topic is accompanied by a tutorial video. The introductory video will quickly get you into most of the features. We STRONGLY suggest that you view a few of these startup videos first then the following instructions will make complete sense to you. CREATE A PRESENTATION (STEP BY STEP) 1. Open the VPR software. 2. The screen that appears has a song list panel (Sequence List) usually in the middle 3. Locate an existing song by entering first part of the title in the search field (top center) 4. Drag and Drop it's title from the list over to the blank Play List panel on the left 5. Expand and contract the song (click the >> symbol on the left side of song title) 6. Type another title in search field 7. Continue this process until you have created a set of titles or Play List. 8. Drag and drop song titles to rearrange the order if needed 9. When you are finished you can close the PlayList and give it a name 10. RECALL or RESTORE the PlayList by double-clicking it’s name in the PlayLists Tab. When you shut down and reboot later, you can reload the saved play list. You can even export the Play List as a Package and all of it's graphics and run it from a different computer. All of your original gaphics will play correctly. See Packages. Importing PowerPoint The VPR does not actually "import" a Powerpoint file in the true sense of the word but merely links to the file. It does, however, create thumbnail images for each slide and displays these in the Play List. 1. Copy your PowerPoint file to the VPR_Media folder (or any folder you wish as long as you can locate it) 2. Open the VideoPresenterR 3. Locate the Explorer panel in the lower right corner 4. Select the Explorer Tab 5. Drag the PowerPoint Icon into the Play List panel 6. The thumbnails should appear. 7. Control the show with the space bar or by clicking each slide.
